Skunks, Voles, and More in White Lake Township, Michigan

If there’s one thing White Lake Township, Michigan residents have in common, it’s their problems with skunks and voles.

There are voles in the front and back yards of our house – the tunnels in the lawn are killing a lot of grass. It started in spring, and we attempted repellant but it had little to no effect. Our cat has caught six (and left them on our porch) but I see more every time I mow the lawn. There’s already a good amount of damage to our lawns and we would like to get rid of them.    -Primm K

We seem to have multiple issues arising. We have a mole or vole in the yard that is wreaking havoc on the lawn. Also, we appear to have a rat or mouse that keeps appearing in our home and tearing into our food storage. There is also a skunk that has been seen in and around our property. Would love to have someone come look and possibly remove one or all of these animals.        -Landon P

We keep filling in holes under our front porch and have a light shining all night but a mama skunk and babies (don\'t know exact amount but believe there are 2) keep coming back. I have been told they are infested with fleas. I believe they have been camped out under the porch for about three to four days and their odor is coming thru to our basement area that is back up to the front porch. -Kasey N

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in White Lake Township and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Rats and Bats in White Lake Township, Michigan

The rats and bats of White Lake Township, Michigan are causing residents a lot of stress.

Just moved into a home built in the 1800s with a huge attic. Prior to the move, the inspection did not find any pest. Within a two week period the very large attic is covered in Bat droppings in multiple spots and I have found 6 - 10 dead bats in the house. One in the kitchen behind the stove and one in the basement. The others were all by the attic door. Looking at the droppings there are probably at least 50 bats, if not more!           -Candice F

Have seen rat droppings on the driveway. Have caught one medium-large and three smaller rats; there is an enormous nest in the tree above the driveway and one has managed to take the bait and trip the trap without getting caught. I was thinking of using a high power water stream to blow the nest apart. Good idea? Bad idea? Suggestions?      -Brian A

There are bats in the basement but the house is rented out and I don\'t have many details, although I can get more from the property manager. There have been about five or six instances over the last two weeks. There is a large gap under the garage door in the basement. Louvres in the attic have been closed off.  We need help locating the entrance, removing the bats, and preventing future problems.    -Joseph S

I\'m not sure if I have a mice or rat problem. I saw a rodent run across the floor of my room. I was so surprised and scared. I don\'t know how it\'s getting in, how long it has been happening, or anything. I\'m unable to sleep at night because I\'m so scared of it. I need whatever it is gone as soon as possible! Thank you!           -Sonny D
